At the ceremony, Deng Xianchang (Vice General Manager of Production
Department of Hasan International H&S) signed the Order of Project Commencement
with Director of Infrastructure Construction Administration of Ministry of
Construction, and participated in the ground-breaking ceremony of the Project. State leaders, such as Provincial Governor of Cunene and Director of
Infrastructure Construction Administration of Ministry of Construction
communicated with the contractors, and encouraged them to overcome difficulties
on site, increase the construction efficiency and minimize the construction
period through optimal management as per the terms and conditions of contract
to provide local people with affordable houses with good quality and sufficient
quantity.
The project of 424 affordable houses is located in Ondjiva of Cunene,
including construction of affordable houses and construction of supporting
municipal facilities such as road works, rainwater drainage system, sewage
drainage system, power network and sewage treatment center.
